Chinese New Year was February 3rd and tonight we got to celebrate it with our FCC (families with chinese children) group. Several surrounding groups joined us and it was alot of fun! There were over 200 people there and a whole lot of kids!! The girls got to dress in their Chinese dresses and they loved that! This was our first event since Alice has been home...I thought she might be shy with the big crowd, but she wasn't and got right in the middle of it all and played with all of the other kids. Our FCC had nine children come home this year and since Alice was one of them (actually the most recently home) she got a certificate and teddy bear...what a special time for her! I also got to see lots of friends...it has really been nice to meet so many people that have been through or are going through the same thing that we are..we have really been blessed!

The dragon dance was fun, but I had to take Lucy out...she was NOT a fan of the big mask....
We tried to get a picture of all the kids...it was crazy! This is MOST of them...
Here we are getting Alice's certificate and teddy bear...SO glad you are home sweet girl!!
