The day after we got our Alice...


Can you believe it.....we have been home with our sweet girl 6 months!!! Hard to believe how much she has changed in such a short time....How cliche, but it feels like she has always been here and I can't imagine our lives without her. She is such a sweetie....full of life, so silly, very smart, extremely caring, & overly bossy;) yet as soft and sweet as they come...she LOVES to swing and can do it herself (imagine that)...she is quite the little singer and dancer...always singing You Are My Sunshine:) She is very nurturing if anyone is sad or hurt and she isn't scared to do anything. She is also VERY affectionate. She has a strong opinion about everything and isn't scared to make herself heard...Charles and I have determined that she is our loudest child...how that is possible, I have NO IDEA...the other 3 aren't quiet by a long shot!! I remember being in the hotel in China...she seemed so quiet and fragile and to a degree, she was...she has blossomed into the most beautiful little girl and I cannot wait to see her continue to show us who she is:) She is speaking all English and no longer says anything in Chinese...it is amazing that she can do that, but it is also kind of sad...I loved hearing her Chinglish:)...she calls herself Alice and I am surprised that she has completely dropped Hua Hua. For the longest time, she would see herself in the mirror or in pictures and say, that's Hua Hua, but now she says, I am Alice, in her cutest little voice...I could go on and on and on....bottom line is- I LOVE THIS GIRL.
