Julie:)

We had a wonderful and exciting weekend because my sweet and precious friend, Julie came to visit from Mississippi! We met early 2000 and since the day we met, we have been inseparable friends. We knew each other 7 kids ago...she has been there for me through thick and thin and the thick of it has been rough and crazy at times...Although our schedules are jam packed and opposite (it seems), when we finally get to catch up, we just pick right up where we left off. We will be friends til the day we die, no doubts in my mind. So glad she hitched a ride to spend some time with us and meet Alice:)

She arrived Friday and we went to get the boys from school and headed to Nestle Tollhouse, our Friday afternoon tradition. After Nestle, we went to Publix, then headed home to cook and eat...of course, we stayed up WAY too late. Saturday, we went to Charlie's basketball game, then lounged around for the afternoon while Charles took Charlie, Max and Lucy with him to shop for dress shirts/suits (sounds like a blast!)...then, Saturday night we met several girls and went to eat Mexican....that was my first night away from Alice for something besides grocery shopping or cleaning. It was lots of fun!! Coffee and talking after that till the wee hours...a perfect weekend. The girls literally fought over her...so funny! Lucy adores her and Alice was pretty taken with her too...she let the girls put makeup on and brought all the kids chocolate bars...they think she is the best:) Time went by too fast...
