Could This Be Your Son???

For several weeks now, I have not been able to get this little boys face out of my mind...he is from China and is on a Waiting Child list...he is 8 and it lists him as healthy....everyday I check to see if someone has put his file on hold and finally today, I thought to myself, if his file is not on 'hold' then I am going to help find him a family. There are so many precious children out there in need of a family...someone to call mom and dad....I think maybe he caught my eye because he reminds me so much of Charlie---a healthy, rambunctious 8 year old with a smile that could make you melt!! I have tried to think of Charlie in that place....on a list somewhere with no takers because he is 8!!!!??? It makes me hurt....Could YOU be his family???? He is listed under the name Tripp...go to www.lifelineadoption.org(cannot get the link to work on here so you will have to type it in), Click on International, then China, then Waiting Children (on the right hand side)...PLEASE prayerfully consider opening your home to a child....no, you cannot cure the orphan crisis in this world by adopting one child but for the child you adopt, you will change EVERYTHING and hopefully give them a chance to know Jesus...as Christians we need to rise up and be doers of the Word and not just hearers (James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says!!)

Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.
