One More Peek:)

I saved one picture so that I could post it this week...this is the most recent picture we have of our little angel...it was taken in September. She is 23 pounds and 31.5 inches tall. Her head is shaved, as you can see. In orphanages, they often keep their heads shaved to prevent the spread of lice and for easy maintenance, that is my best guess. I have also heard they do it for cultural reasons...they believe if they shave it, it will grow back very thick and full. It is sad, but that doesn't really bother me at all--it will grow in soon enough...she is so beautiful just like she is. When I saw this one, I just cried. All I could think about was just how sad her big beautiful eyes look. I am looking SO forward to the day I see her smile and she is happy:)
