around 1:00, I got a call from a friend (in NC) that is adopting Alice's little best friend in her orphanage...she told me that she had gotten some pictures in an update and had several of my Alice...talk about a direct answer from the Lord!! He hears us and loves to give us those 'little' things that send us soaring with happiness. All of the drive home, I would smile big and then burst into tears. It is like you have this really HAPPY feeling, then right on the tail end of it, there is a little stab of hurt because I want my daughter...I WANT TO TOUCH HER AND HUG HER AND KISS HER AND SMELL HER!!!! So, I laughed and I cried and I laughed and I cried...oh, I am just a mess now...can't wait to get her home where she belongs. Another good thing is, it looks like she must have gotten our 2nd package because she is wearing 2 of the new dresses...so precious. And it looks like she is sporting a new buzz:) She rocks it anyway!!!! She is beautiful and has no idea how crazy about her we are:)
Here is the first picture I received of Alice and her best friends in March...this is the gang!!

That is wonderful! I'd have to say it was a God thing!

ReplyDeleteBless you! The wait between referral and travel is pure misery and can't fully be understood unless you've experienced it yourself. I was overjoyed to receive updated photos of Sarah Martin, but those photos also made me ache for her even more. I pray your paperwork is processed in record time, so you can go get that baby. I followed your Facebook link here the other day and Sarah Martin kept pointing at these pictures and saying "ME, ME, ME, ME!!!!!".=) Such sweet babies! I also enjoy seeing photos of you beautiful Charlie, Max and Lucy! They are just too cute!
