LOA, baby...

Well, I knew that it was coming FedEx today...usually it comes around 5:00 or 6:00 pm....so the doorbell rang at 7:30 AM and I went into a frenzy...number one because I was in pjs, straight out of bed...number 2 I needed a picture with the FedEx guy and he was hightailing it out of there listening to his iPod...anyway, poor Lucy...I was spastic...trying to find my camera and literally had to chase him down. I said "I know this is weird, but I need your picture with this package...we are adopting a little girl and this is THE paperwork I have been waiting on...I've been doing alot of weird things lately..." He just laughed and obliged!!! I came in afterward, and I was shaking....I opened the pack and when I saw the document, I just started crying...it was just so Chinese, I guess and it just looked like her and just knowing that this was China saying 'YES!' was overwhelming. Since it was early, and Charles was still dropping off the boys, I called him to see if he could run by and sign it all on his way to work. He came by and was in a huge rush, I was printing off the referral so we could initial all the pages and send it back and I wanted to get pictures....we talked about signing just like our names read...he signed and I took pictures, then it was my turn. I knew he was in a hurry and right after I wrote Jennifer, Lucy started saying she was getting stuff out of the copier and Charles was snapping pictures...I got flustered and my hand wasn't listening to my brain--so instead of signing my first middle last name, I put my first and the first letter of my LAST name....then, I wanted to cry! I didn't do anything until I heard word from my program director on what I should do...I always thought you signed exactly as it said, so anyway...what a dork! All the anticipation and I screwed it up....

Here is the FedEx guy...he didn't know he was going to be a hero today!

THE BIG DEAL LOA...

Charles signing his name...

Me and my bedhead, signing mine...

I did get it all sorted out after all...I only put my first and last name, so please pray that is enough to get it all approved! I overnighted it so that Karla can send it out asap. They say you get your travel approval in about 12(ish) weeks. We are basically hoping for a miracle...to travel in October. It will be a stretch but with God ALL THINGS are possible (Matt 19:26)!! Otherwise, it will be December, because of the Asian games being held in the province we are staying in during November. We could travel in November, but it will be SO crowded that it will be hard to get from point A to point B with the traffic...God knows the hour we will leave already, so I am going to do my best to keep that at the front of my mind...He's just so good! Now we have a few short little steps and we are waiting on the big TA (travel approval)...pray that every hand that touches our paperwork will move with expediency that could only come from God:) It is all so exciting and I am honored that God would even allow me to take this journey...In HIM,
