Well, I got some courage right before bedtime tonight and decided to give Lucy a try in her 'big girl' bed...better known to her as her "PRINCESS" bed....she was medicated for her little cold and it had the potential to make her 'drowsy', so I thought this might be my best bet. I have been telling her what the rules will be for months....1. she can NOT get up out of the bed 2. If she needs anything, she can call out to us and we will come and help her 3. If she gets up, she gets a spanking and has to go back to the crib....She could tell me these rules without any prompting tonight, so I felt like she might really do it. It is 11:00 pm right now and I just went in and checked her and she has her sweet hands together (like she was praying) and she has them under her little cheek and she is sound asleep. I don't think she has moved a muscle. She has been in there for several hours and we have not heard a peep, so I am thinking, it may have been a success. Here she was as we tucked her in for the first time in her new bed....have I mentioned any lately that she is my angel??!? She was pretty proud that we were finally going to let her, she was just squealing...man, I love her!!!

Thank you Lord for your many blessings in my life...you knew I needed this little girl...
Ok Jennifer, I saw earlier on FB that you had a blog and I HAD to check it out. It's 2:35 am and I have JUST finished reading ALL of your blog!! After I have cried from watching the adoption videos, rejoiced about the door God has opened for you to adopt, laughed at pictures of the kids and been blessed by Charlie's 'artwork for adoption', I am going to bed!! haha I enjoyed it so much. You must give me a lesson on blogging. I'm not too good at it!! May God continue to bless your family and your new little one.
