There's Nothing Like Friends for the Holidays...

So far, we have had a wonderful time with our friends over Christmas!! We went bowling with the Rigsbys and had a ball! The kids have NEVER been bowing and after many Wii family bowling tournaments with Charlie telling us he was the "king of bowling", we just had to take him and let him get a taste of the real thing! It was hilarious...he was pretty frustrated not to be beating everyone...we had so much fun. This is Shane holding Lucy...I am guessing this look is due to the fact that he literally could not move without Lucy wanting him to hold her!!! She was stuck to him:)


Then, Sunday night, since there was no church service, we had the Johnson's over....they haven't been to our house (other than a Sunday School party) in over a year at least, so I actually cooked and we let the kids play...and we played a little ourselves (Wii)...

Then, this morning, I met some friends for breakfast at Panera...Paige, Me, Kristi & Misti...[& NO, I am NOT afraid to sport my favorite t-shirt just as often as I please!!! This won't be the last you see of it or my beads!!!!haha]

Kristi moved to Florida a while back and I haven't seen her in years, so while she was in town visiting family, we got together to try and catch up for at least a few minutes over breakfast. It feels so good to be with old friends, just to feel that familiar feeling you had when you were with them last...just to pick right back up where you left off. "...a sweet friendship refreshes the soul. Proverbs 27:9"
