Here is my real Sunday post...Well, we have our third stomach virus victim: CHARLES!! Not good. I was staying home from church this morning because Max still had fever, so I didn't do any in depth studying for our Sunday School lesson just read it thru a time or two because Charles was going to teach while I kept Max. Well, I set my clock to the right time but, like a ding-bat, had it set for PM, so I randomly woke up at 7:30 this morning and freaked out!! That meant I was teaching and we were about to be late!!! I rolled over and Charles says....I am sick, I think I am going to throw up...so, Charlie and I hit the road while sweet Nana watched Max and Lucy for me...I just didn't have time to get her ready!! That is the bad news!! The good news is...as soon as Charlie and I pulled out of the driveway, he said "does this mean we get to go on a date after church, just me and you??" Talk about a heart-melting!!! So, after church, we went to his choice--McDonald's and he got to get Dr Pepper, which I think made his whole day. It was an awesome date! It felt surreal--I was all teary just sitting there watching him eat and listening to him...kind of felt like we were in a movie. Am I the only one that happens to?? We talked about church and with all of the Twisted Fate hype (our church did a judgement house type thing called Twisted Fate this whole week and it ROCKED)...he was asking me about that. I told him the general story about how two families, one Christian and one non-Christian, lost their sons and one went to heaven and one went to hell. I was telling him about how awesome Heaven was and that when we got in there, they called out each of us by name. I said, "they called my name and it was such a great feeling...it was so exciting and I just couldn't stop crying!!" He said, "so, it was kind of like going to the doctor's office, only better??" I just cracked up...he was so funny and he was doing his best to understand what I was talking about. He is such a little treasure!!
