I have been wanting our picture made with the yellow-leaved trees forever, but inevitably we always seem to procrastinate through that one week window that the leaves are so beautiful. All year long, I have been determined that this year, I am going to drop whatever we are doing and GET THIS PICTURE MADE!!! So, we loaded all of the kids up and headed downtown to meet Regan, my sister, so that she could take our picture...It was quick, so we decided that maybe we had time to grab a few of the kids, although they had no "picture making preps"--they had clothes on from school, their hair wasn't fixed, you see what I'm saying...WELL, they turned out great and we are actually using it for our Christmas card!!! I had already decided on the one for the card, but once she made these---that was it!! Of course, I can't post that!!! Maybe later....so, I AM posting a few of me and Charles together...I thought they turned out great:) My favorite is the very last one---that is the look I was hoping for and is the one I will most likely order larger to go over our bed!!!! YAY!! I can't believe after all of these years we finally got it:)

I am posting this, then heading out for a night of sheer Christmas BLISS--in my pjs, apple cider in the crockpot, with lots of friends, ideas in my head---ready to go to the annual Gingerbread House Party!! (now, I am a firm believer in nothing Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but
this is the one exception-no music, unless practicing for choir, no trees, no decorations, you get the idea)--- I can not wait!! I made my house and covered it with graham crackers earlier in the week, then this morning, I made the ROYAL icing, got a slight tummy ache from eating it:(, then let the kids finish off the mixer sticks (I will post those pics along with the ones from tonight & the FINISHED PRODUCT!!)
Have a wonderful night! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am going to;)
