Botanical Gardens/Dinner & Icecream

Today we went to the Botanical Gardens..it was so pretty...we had a good time although it was pretty stinkin hot. At 2:00, we left for our Consulate appointment...we had to wait awhile and all the kids were restless, as the whole room was listening to the lady explain right before we took our oath, Alice decided it would be a great time to grab the leaves on the large tree beside us and pull the whole thing down...quite a scene!!! She really is a Morrison!!!! Then, tonight we went and ate Italian and finished the night off with McDonalds ice cream. Have I mentioned she is fiesty??? She is wearing Charlie out saying this one phrase with the meanest little face....I can only imagine what she is saying...oh, I wish I knew. I know for a fact it isn't nice, so I have been getting onto her when she says it (all 1000 times today!)...the bad part is, she has no idea what in the world i am saying! She is quite a character:)

  4. I love that she is feeling comfortable enough with your family to point her finger at Charlie and give him what for AND give you all hugs and kisses! She is adorable and beautiful!!! I am so excited to see your pictures of the botanical gardens. I have never seen any from there before, and it looks so pretty. Going to have to put that on my list of places we might go! I'm praying for a smooth rest of your trip. So thankful that things are going well. :-)

  5. Hi Jennifer! My name is Anna Lokey and I am a friend of Nicole Cotton. She told me about your journey and I started following you. I am really trying to live vicariously through you. :) We are getting very close and hope to travel before Christmas. I just wanted to let you know who I was. I may hit you up with some questions some time.

  6. Ok so now I am FOR SURE that Avay Maran is saying the same thing to Luke as she has NO PROBLEM pointing that finger and sassing like you know what. You are so right.. IF ONLY we knew what they were saying (we would be shocked I am sure). Doing great here but LOVING reading your words. We think of you every day and pray for you. You will be home soon and I can only imagine the tears at the airport (Mine were plentiful). Love ya to pieces and you guys are doing great! Hugs -- Ann

  7. Charles - like bargaining about price - surely not!?!?!

I LOVE that she's sassy :-) As a Mommy of two sassy girls, it can wear you out, but what strong women they will be - much like their mommies!!

Praying you get some "mommy-free" minutes soon!

  8. Hey, sweet friend...praying for you all and missing you a lot! Seems like you've been gone for months. We loved the Gardens...so beautiful...and I do hope you get a few moments alone...that is important and you deserve it. At the Chapman concert last night, we met several Lifeline families and had the opportunity to sign up many SH sponsors and talk w/couples praying about adoption. God is moving and it is so exciting! Cannot wait to have you all home, so others can see this 'miracle of adoption', being lived out in another family. You are a treasure, greatly loved by the King...ordained to be the mother of Charlie, Max, Lucy and Alice...you are blessed among women and you have been found faithful. I miss you!
