Happy Thanksgiving:)

We did a sorry job of picture taking for Thanksgiving for whatever reason...I didn't even get a picture of the whole gang!!!!

Daddy and the kiddos...

Alice let him flip her...she's a sucker for getting thrown and flipped...she is quite the free spirit...so she's fitting in fine...

Alice-her first thanksgiving...

She is quite the hugger...she loves her brothers...

They are pretty crazy about her too....:)

Alice is teaching everyone all of her hand signs....oh no....and, SHE LOVES JEWELRY...

Baby Davis is growing up...he is so funny and such a cutie...

Love following your story of life!! sweet Alice and all your children... and did notice sweet Lucy in her POPPY DIP!!

I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed following your trip to Alice and home again! She is just precious and your family is so sweet. I will continue to pray for everyone's transition to a family of six!

Dec 4, 2009-Lifeline received our initial application

Dec 15, 2009-got THE 'China Manual' in the mail

Dec 16, 2009-Jennifer got fingerprints done

Dec 17, 2009-Jennifer got medical done, went to health dept for birth and marriage certificates, had passport photos made, took form to pediatrician

Dec 18, 2009-Charles and my mom got their fingerprints done and Charles got his passport photos made

Dec 21, 2009-Jennifer TB test

Dec 22, 2009-mailed off all of our fingerprints/CAN forms

Dec 23, 2009-Charles got medical done

Dec 29, 2009-Charles TB test

Jan 11, 2010-1st Homestudy visit

Jan 14, 2010-2nd HS visit

Jan 27, 2010-finished all required reading/Hague modules!!

Jan 30, 2010- Got our fingerprint and CAN clearances (in less than 5 weeks!!!!!)

Feb 2, 2010-final HS visit in B'ham

Feb 8, 2010-received & accepted REFERRAL for our daughter/sent LOI!!!!:)

March 12, 2010-got our PA (after almost 5 long weeks!)

March 16, 2010-HS sent to DHR for review

March 17, 2010-mailed our I800a to USCIS (immigration)

March 29, 2010-got our receipt from Homeland Security saying they got our I800a and our payment

April 12, 2010-had our biometric fingerprints done--early--Praise the Lord!!! (orig. scheduled for 4/19)

April 13, 2010-fingerprints passed!!

April 20, 2010-HS forwarded to USCIS

April 29, 2010-got our I800A approval from USCIS!!!!!!

May 3, 2010-received our I-797 from USCIS (this is the response to our I-800A)

May 5, 2010-documents to Secretary of State for them to be certified

May 7, 2010-got a wonderful update from the orphanage!!

May 11, 2010-documents back from the Secretary of State, should head to the Chinese Consulate in Houston, TX tomorrow!! (almost there)

May 12, 2010-documents headed to Houston, TX, to the Chinese Consulate for AUTHENTICATION:) We are almost done!!

May 20, 2010-documents back from Houston, TX

May 21, 2010-DTC

June 3, 2010-LID

July 20, 2010-mailed I800/DS-230/I864W to Karla

Aug 3, 2010-found out LOA is on its way:)

Aug 9, 2010-LOA is here...Karla is FedExing it to me overnight

August 10, 2010-signed and returned LOA and paperwork to agency (overnighted)

August 11, 2010-I800 sent/Supplement 3 sent (overnighted)

August 12, 2010-sent our Visa applications & mailed along with our actual passports

August 13, 2010-visit with our social worker for our Supplement 3 (I800A)--so that an addendum can be added to the age on our HS

August 16, 2010-Karla scanning addendum to our immigration officer today

August 18, 2010-got Hep A booster and a few new pics of Alice from our NC friends

August 23, 2010-got rejection notice from immigration for a wrong answer marked on I800; corrected and overnighted back to Lewisville, TX USCIS

August 28, 2010-got an update from our care package sent july 16th...a letter and 2 new pictures!!

August 30, 2010-got receipt notice from our I800 (2nd attempt)

September 1, 2010-Supp 3/HS addendum approved

September 9, 2010-I800 FINALLY approved

September 13, 2010-I797 came with Alice's incorrect birthday on it:(

September 17, 2010-the corrected I-797 came in the mail

September 23, 2010-NVC letter/I800 was CABLED to Guangzhou

October 14, 2010-Article 5 picked up

October 25, 2010-TA!!!!!!!!!:)

November 3, 2010-leave for China

November 8, 2010-Alice's Gotcha Day (Alice Day)

November 15, 2010-Consulate Appointment (CA)

November 21, 2010-Home Sweet Home:)
