Our comfy, cozy, little "perfect" life--INSERT-> GOD CALLS US TO ADOPT & GET OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE!! Here is our life, for real! All of our fears & insecurities, our faith and our BIG MIGHTY GOD!! We know in the end it will be so SWEET, but it's gonna take a LEAP OF FAITH:)
Don't you wish you knew what Alice was thinking on that long plane ride? I remember feeling so helpless because even if I could explain it to YouYou in Mandarin...how could a 2.5 year old understand how long the plane ride was going to be, etc. I also remember wondering what YouYou was really thinking when we got home. I figured she just thought it was another hotel room since we had been in 3 different ones w/ her at that point.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have made it to the airport Sunday but I had a sick hubby and child. It sounds like you had a grand welcoming though! That is wonderful!
Welcome Home!
if that is hag then you disgust me! HA HA...you look fine. Our flight home wasn't the best either but not as bad as yours! Maran cried a few times on it and it was horrible. I have come to tears more times since being home though. SO GLAD you are back and can't wait to hear the stories. Seeing Max and Lucy just helps the 'EXHAUSTION' go away...well until they want or need something. Wanted to call today but you are such a popular lady I decided to leave you alone! May send you an e mail later for whenever you wish to read. Hugs my dear... Sweet Dreams! Ann
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it home safely and I loved seeing your smiling face in your own home! Sorry I could not make it to the airport, Emma has been a little under the weather this weekend. I am so glad you had a 'grand' welcoming home. :0) The plane rides are tough for sure. I don't think there is anything we could do to prepare these little ones, it just is exhausting. So happy to see you home and smiling!! And the Walmart trip - now I know you are more than amazing!! :0)
