Today was such a great day...we went to see the Great Wall. It was amazing...we hiked it until we just couldn't go anymore and we passed 7 of the towers....it was unbelievable...Charlie absolutely loved it...he has been such a trooper.
When we finished, we went and ate at a local restaurant and it was my favorite meal so far...can't tell you exactly what all we had but it was delicious--the food has been amazing. We are getting pretty good at chopsticks, believe it or not.
After lunch, we visited a place where they make cloisonne and if you are like me, you have never heard of it, but once you see it, you know what it is...we then headed back into town for an Acrobat Show and then, after getting back to the hotel, we decided to head to another local place-Sunshine Kitchen, and have dinner...we were the only people there not Chinese and it was interesting because we couldn't speak Chinese and they couldn't speak English...there were no forks, just chopsticks...I ordered noodles and did ok:) We came back to the hotel and had massages in the room set up by our guide....it was a pretty busy day! Keeping busy is good though...this afternoon, I realized that it REALLY isn't long until I get my Alice...I probably wont be sleeping much tomorrow night:)
Tomorrow morning, which will be Saturday night for you, I guess, we will head to the market for a little bit and then head to the airport for our flight to Guangzhou, so I am not sure if I will post in the morning...
It doesn't have the regular option for me to post pictures with my post, so I might try to email pictures to the blog and make a list to label them...we will see how it goes:)

If you get this please confirm for me that you will get Alice on Monday but it will be our Sunday night....right? I've been trying to figure that out but not sure if I am right:)
