Good Morning:)

Only time for a super quick post because we are headed to breakfast and are sooo late...we overslept until 9:30---ironically this is the best nights sleep I have had...I slept like a baby! So far, I am not anxious at all, just excited, but I am sure that my tummy will start the flips all too soon...the White Swan hotel is perfect so far...no complaints...very spacious suite, wonderful water pressure, & free wifi. The beds are firm, but we all slept great, so that hasn't been a problem:) All of our stuff is put away and we are getting her bed and stuff ready this morning...they will be here to get us at 1:45:) See you soon with my daughter in arms! God is so faithful and His peace is unbelievable. To think that we doubted his plan...how silly we are! He knows what we need, when we need it, even if it seems too difficult for us. I can testify to that and will for the rest of my days (with confidence):) Have a great day!

  5. Today is the day!!! It's 9:08 pm CST so that means it's Monday morning China time!!!

I thought of little Alice as I put my daughter to sleep tonight...it was one of those nights that she wanted to talk about "China". Sometimes it is hard...really hard to hear what is going on in her head. But I'm so glad that she feels comfortable enough to share her feelings with me. My prayers tonight will be for all of you, but especially little Alice. Her world is about to be turned upside down and although you have been anticipating this day for so long...she has not. I pray that God will comfort her broken heart and allow her to trust you...that she will know that you are safe and she will feel that peace that can only come from Him.

I can't wait to turn on my computer in the morning...I hope I can sleep!!! Thanks for letting us follow along on your journey!!!

  10. I pray that everything is going well. As you know, we are all axious to see pictures...and as you know...I did not do a very good job of posting much after our Gotcha Day. Do not worry about the people back here...take care of sweet Alice, yourself, Charles and Charlie..they are your priority now because your life has just miraculously changed. Please know we are thinking of you and praying for His peace and comfort. Psalm 34:8; Psalm 13:6
    We love you all!
